Applications:
1.Chloroacetic acid is used in the manufacture of cellulose ethers (used mainly for drilling muds, detergents, food, and pharmaceuticals), crop protection chemicals, and in the manufacture of glycine, thioglycolic acid, malonic acid, vitamins, sequestering agents (EDTA), glycine, dyes (indigo and derivates), chloroacetylchloride (CAC), surfactants.
2.Chloroacetic acid is also used in the manufacture of various dyes, synthetic caffeine, and organic chemicals.
Storage:
Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, well-ventilated area away from METALS.
